Windows 8.1 Watermark

I just got done installing Windows 8.1, and there is a watermark on the bottom right of the screen that says,

Windows 8.1

Build 9600

I have not installed any drivers yet, but is there any way to get rid of this or will the drivers do it? I'm using a MSI Z97-GD65 motherboard.

Have you connected to the Internet yet and activated Windows? I had that and I'm pretty sure it went away as soon as I got online. Maybe I had to reboot first. Once you connect it should activate automatically.

This means that your Windows has not been activated, so you will have to enter your key. If you already have entered your key but have not installed your network drivers, then you will need to install the network drivers(along with any other essential driver) so that Windows can connect to the internet to verify the product key.

Ok thanks. I can't connect to the Internet yet because I don't have the network card driver but I'm putting it on a flash drive and I'm going to install it shortly. Just making sure this isn't a major issue. Thanks!
