Hello! i recently built my new rig (first rig) and i used a Bitfenix prodigy (mitx) and a Gigabyte Gtx 970 MINI, and i discovered that the fan is louder than a freaking jet engine, it's temps maxed out at 74C while running firemark, so the question is, is there a way to mod a case fan/replace the poop noisy fan on the gpu itself?

Have you tried setting a custom fan curve with software like Msi Afterburner?

I'm moving the thread to Graphics Cards--the Troubleshooting sub-forum is for.. troubleshooting.

Oh... sorry didn't know it had a sub-forum... yes, yes i have... it's still really loud... even at idle... can't get the fan to go below 33% and it's still way louder than my case fans running at 100%

You could replace the fan by taking off the shroud and putting a better 120mm fan on it.

You probably shouldn't have gotten an itx card in the first place with such a large case.

hmmm... that actually might work... yeah i imagined that the case would be a LOT smaller... i still love it... but... it's bigger than my previous matx case... (yes i am aware that there is a Matx version of the prodigy)
