I want to know what's the best processor for GAMING under 400 USD.Also,It should be unlocked,meaning it can OC.

My preferences - I7 4770k,I7 5820k

Don't bother with the 4770k. The 4790k is cheaper most of the time and has better single core performance. (basically just an updated ver of the 4770k)

I'd have to say 5820K if you can afford the rest of the parts being more expensive too.

Man, 2011 is ridiculously expensive.

Yeah, wait for Broadwell or even better Skylake. The 5820K is awesome, as is the 4790K, but Broadwell is only around the corner. May as well see what is up there.

For gaming; you don't need to spend 400 $$ for a CPU, instead you could get an i5 around 200 $$ which is pretty decent. Since GPU plays the major role in gaming computers, you can spare money for much better GPU despite wasting money for an overkill CPU.

No, but it's the best for gaming at the price. The 5960x/i7 4790k are the best unlocked gaming CPUs.
