But wtf. You guys should of seen my facial expression when I saw this...

Mainboard

dp965lt 9 years old

Cpu

Core 2 duo 2.4 8-9 years old

Ram

4x1gb dual channel 667mhz ddr2 9years old

Hdd

Western digital 200gb almost 10 years old

Psu:

Corsair cx430w new

Gpu:

Asus gtx750ti oc 2gb gddr5 dual fans new

Battlefield 4 runs smooth as hell on ultra 1080p with x2 AA. (Sometimes I get random fps drops which last only for a sec or two. (Audio freezes too)

But bf4 runs just fine (excluding this fps drop thing) on a 9 year old rig.

WIN.

Wait wait wait hold up, a Core 2 Duo is not 8-9 years old. It's more like 5-6.

I only joke, next gen consoles are still using bloated API's to get games out quickly. give them a couple years...

PS3 launch games ran 1080p and got only lower res over its lifetime... PS4 couldn't even manage 1080p at launch i doubt it will get better...

It's kind of cheating... even if the cpu WAS 9 years old (and it's not, not sure where you got that number from ), the gpu is less than one year old, and came out months after the release of bf4.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

That's technically what you would do, upgrade it to a good GPU like this with a CPU from 2009.

Yeah I know, I bought 750 TI because of the low power requirement. I was like meh, still better than nx8400gs. But then I saw its performance. It's a little beast living inside this card, I'm being serious now. My jaw dropped. Of course this isn't a high end card but nor is it a low end junk!!! It's a strong upper-mid range card. Only $120 in some countries.

> RAM is ddr2 667 mhz

> OS is Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

BTW are these fps drops (by fps drop I mean a randomly occuring screen and audio freeze which lasts only for 2 seconds but mostly for 1 second) caused by cpu? :S

It runs at ~ 30 FPS. I'll record it with a camera later to show you guys. This is madness. LOL.

But I would still not play online with these fps drops :(. I'll upgrade entire pc including motherboard soon.

exactly, nothing out of the ordinary.

Then why call it cheating then? It's perfectly normal.

Here's a video of mine:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY6kaEHxwek&list=UUqe3QfV86RidSRlRPwVZUIw

I made this video a few months ago when I had that ugly video card NX8400GS!

See how it ran...resolution was forced 640x480.

Forced 640x480? If you have a Nvidia card, you can just use the Nvidia Control Panel and create a custom resolution, unless you're screen natively runs something better.

Most likely. The processor can't keep up with the game, which is causing stuttering.

I wouldn't call that "playable".
