Hi guys, so i want to start streaming CS:GO, and maybe a few other games, just for fun, and for my friends to watch me play. I will stream on twitch, have installed OBS and everything works fine, except when i stream it shows a black screen when in game. My sources are "Monitor Capture" and "Game: Counterstrike" . So my friend told me that if I stream to monitor capture I cant play full screen. But I prefer playing full screen. When I use Game as the source I get a black screen when I'm in game, and can hear the in game sounds when i move my mouse.

So here are my questions:

1) Will I be able to play full screen and stream at the same time?

2) Is there a better software optimized for this

3) Any guides on getting it done correctly?

Use full screen windowed mode

The game capture is still bit shaky with OBS but the software itself is good. You could use another programs like Dxtory to encode your game. Or you could try to refresh game. Maybe set a button for it. Press it while ingame and it should auto-refresh the game. Honestly I have only had problem with older games and gamecapture. Haven't streamed in while but monitor capture should capture anything on screen. So also full screen games. Drawback is that it uses lot more resources than game capture.
