Not sure if I'm technically allowed to post this here.

My dad's looking for 5 new computers for his office.

They'll just be for generic office type things. Browsing, office processing, that sorta thing.

AIO or separate tower and monitor, doesn't matter (tower as small as possible though).

KB&M included.

Screen around 20 inches.

Win7/8

He'd like onsite tech support although I don't know if that'll be possible.

Budget - £400 max each - not including tech support (UK)

Thanks in advance if this is allowed.

If he wants onsite tech support, You're going to have to look at pre-builts. Or a company near by that will build and offer the support.

You will also be looking at more than 400 pounds each, for 5 machines for on-site support, and decent machines.

Does it just need to be the computer itself and the monitor? also, is an OS needed?

For that on site tech support, get good with computers and stuff and do it yourself :P

Yeah it doesn't really work that way in the working world. You can't really have anybody doing your computer work. You would need an actual company.

Split the ram 4GB each system. Use the rest of the budget to figure out the tech support.

I've updated the OP. The £400 excludes the tech support.

Updated OP. Win7/8 included. He (and I doubt his employees) will ever be competent enough for tech support and it just doesn't work that way in the working world. And I sure as hell am not being his tech support. :P

I'll throw something together for you. I'd suggest about 400 per machine, is fine enough, than perhaps have a conversation with your dad about tech support and allocating a budget per year to get them tuned up and looked at by a professional.

Pretty much what i was going to suggest, Only difference being to grab a different SSD, and/or an HDD.
