Hi i just joined this forum not long ago after looking for some advice on the net to build a Video Editing Rig (mainly) with good rendering speed.

I live in Canada and I'm trying to build something that, most possibly, isn't over 1000$ CND with peripherals if possible.

I had some friends give me advice on choosing the right components but it puts me over 1400$ without the peripherals.

I would use this machine for Premier Pro and After effects, I know I didn't add a HHD with the SSD because i have an external drive plugged in, maybe I'll add one if it's better than a plugged in one.

I am also planning for future upgrades on the same machine for later on.

I'm thinking about only using 1 screen but maybe 2 in the near future.

I need some help to reduce the price tag just enough to be able to use Premier Pro and After Effects with ease.

dude!

get a cheaper board and it should be z97.

maybe  a 1231 v3?

get an 840 evo.

get a 760.

get windows elsewhere.

do you really need a bluray?

To read Bluray off of it maybe, I was planning just in case that i would of wanted it then i would already have it

whats the best way to choose a board?

read that and then ask me again.

decide on the rest of the build first.
