That can happen from time to time - just let it run on it's own for a while, usually sorts itself out. Or, kill Chrome and restart. Sometimes this works, but not often. Just have to let it set. Basically the error indicates there is an issue with the assignment server (could be down, out of WU's, how knows).

I'm getting the following error message when using the Google Chrome Client:

 

Warning: Unexpected response to AS assignment request: error,No appropriate assignment

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
