It's very unbalanced. That's a great CPU, but a really sub-par GPU. If it were me, I'd go for something like an H97 board paired with an i5-4460 CPU and an R9 270 or 280.

edit: oh, I didn't even realize you got an H97 board. That CPU is a waste if you don't overclock it, which usually can't be done on an H97 board. You'd also want at least a 212 Evo as a CPU cooler for overclocking.

Overclocking to 4GHz with what? Stock cooler?... yeah that won't happen.

Also if you are planning to overclock then get a z97 board.

Apart from that you should be able to run at Ultra if you have a few effects off or lowered otherwise I don't think you will get a smooth 60fps overall.

Could you recommend a cheap z97 board?

yes that probably could, but in future builds remember not to over spend on an intel processor, if its for gaming get an amd CPU. With the money you saved you could have gotten a 970 instead of a 750ti. Your system will benefit much more with a more powerful gpu then the cpu because gaming does not depend on the cpu as much

Ok how about we take a step back...

1.What is the overall budget that you have for this system?

2.Is that budget for the PC alone or with peripherals?

3.If with peripherals, what peripherals monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc?

4.I assume you are located in US? if not let us know where you live so we can pick parts according to your country's retailers.

The CPU is a bit much, downgrade to something a little less powerful in turn getting a better gpu like a 270 or 280

Get a i5 4460 and a better GPU.

Why are you so worried about OC if you are only gaming? From 3.2GHz to 4.0GHz it only going to be a couple frames better. On the other hand something along the lines of a R9 280 is going to give a you major fps increase.

1. $750

2. Only the PC and the Monitor is in that budget.

3. Razer Blackwidow, Razer Naga Molten, and the monitor I posted.

4. I am in the U.S

Here you go. It's way more balanced and has much more graphics horsepower for gaming. Stepping up to the K series i5 is only worth it after you've gotten at least an R9 290 or GTX 970. I also swapped your PSU out for the better quality yet not really more expensive one of the same wattage.

Can someone help meh please, I have been gathering components i think fit my needs which are games like BF4 on high settings, editing/rendering videos. I am quite confident in this build but would want someone to oversee and give recommendations on what could be improved - I definitely want the Case, Psu, Cpu and GPu. but I'm not still not quite sure if this is fine because i don't want to buy the components and wait like 2 weeks to get a replacement as on of the comments isn't sufficient. I am VERY impatient, lol. But if you could just give me your opinion that would be great, thanks. Also I'm not sure about the MoBo. i want a motherboard with WiFi and is still god under £150.

sorry i

Sorry, I'm quite new to this site and don't know how to make a thread yet lol.

Not a problem. Since you are planning a build it belongs to the New Builds and Planning sub-forum. Once you are there there is a "Start New Topic" button located at the top right of the page. Remember to tick the "Follow this topic?" in the right sidebar when making a thread to receive a notification when someone makes a comment in your thread.
