Low-mid range build.

Go to solution Solved by c0d0ps,

How about this?

585,16$=37036,08unr

So I am building a new system for my birthday and have almost finalized my build

CPU : AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300

Motherboard : Asus M5A97 Motherboard 2.0

GPU : Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon Dual-X R9 270X

RAM : Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) + Samsung 6 GB (1 x 4GB + 1x GB) [from my old system]

Storage: Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB  + WD Caviar Blue 500 GB [Again from my old system]

PSU : Corsair V650 650 Watt Power Supply

Case: HAF 912

How good is this configuration? What type of FPS can I expect in BF4? And how good will be for streaming or recording without a capture card?

Thanks in advance

Location and budget?

But it looks pretty good -- although there may well be better options depending on your location/budget.

For b4 you can do high 60+ fps I think. And ultra avg ca 50

Unless you plan on using psu for future build, 500w is enough.

270x doesn't require much.

650w is like for 290x or something.

It's decent but what's your budget don't expect that much in bf4 but medium 60/70 fps should be doable.

It won't handle streaming that good. You might want to save up a little more and get an i5.

Actually it easily handle high.

Remember that BF4 is an amd title, mantle rocks! :P

50 fps avg on ultra.

Fx 6300 is not bad for streaming, I am pretty sure it's better than i5 at streaming.

But i5 is better at gaming (generally).

Yes I know the gpu is fine had a 7850 myself which is even a bit slower but the cpu is going to bottleneck a little in bf4.

I5 destroys the fx-6300 in streaming and gaming.

It definitely doesn't "destroy" fx 6300 in streaming more cores is better than stronger cores when streaming.

In gaming it depends what i5 and what game.

And when you save ca 100$ that you can put into beefier gpu it is definitely not "destroyed".

Don't even bring up bottle-neck ..

People always exaggerate ..

I am not sure how it is in India but in Sweden i5's cost ca 127 bucks more.

The 6300 doesn't bottlneck a 270x? With a mild oc you can get it to handle a 290

A haswell i5 will destroy an FX6300 in 99% of games (not when paired with a 270 though); and while an i5 does cost more, the better motherboard and cooler required for an FX6300 usually balances out that cost difference.

Now we are back to exaggerating ..

We are talking about 270x here, not intel vs amd.

Don't go all off topic.

Good luck fitting an i5 into his budget.

flipkart.com and amazon.in

I need a monitor but it is not included in that budget.

But i5 is quite a bit expensive if I get the haswell. @Iani100

Is this the icon for your currency "   " ?

Btw 50k India rupies is 789,99 bucks. So around 689,99 if it is ca 100 bucks more expensive total.

Yes Iknow

Had a similar setup before my intel platform and I'm a diehard bf4 player so I know what I'm talking about.

Also the fx-6300 is already outdated.

I know it will cost you a little more but it will be worth it in the long term.

And the 270x is good card and will play bf4 even at high with 70+ fps if combined with the right cpu.

Don't be a damn fanboy

I've had an 1100t and a 8350 on a 990fx both performed like shit on amd my i5 750 beats the fx-6300 in bf4 yes that's righ a first gen i5.

I had a fps increase of about 20/40 fps on intel and more steady.

Please don't quote met with another bullshit video since I'm speaking with my own experience.

I'm not a fanboy either.

I don't talk shit also benchmarks will reveal almost the same fps but when a game has issues and some small stuttering you can't see that in a benchmark.

I don't get upset, You can easily fit an i5 in this budget so why go for an amd.

Also the youtube video isn't a source since it doesn't mention any benchmarks and he could also be talking shit.......

But if you want to recommend outdated hardware that will need an upgrade in 2 years, fine I'm done.
