A 280 would be better, as it has 3GB of GRAM and can easily be OC to the speed of a 285 and on within the manufacturer's software.

Vram isn't everything. The 285 outperforms the 280 and is more similar to the 280x.

Both are mainly Black-Red themed builds based on AMD, You can expect a more stable FPS with the 8320+280x than the 6300+280, But it wont be bad by any means.
