So, this is my first ever post on this site and was wondering whether to do this in peripherals or in networking. Back to the point, I'm in a situation where I'm forced to use WiFi instead of hard wiring the ol' beast. I have a good a/c router atm that does the job sufficiently well. However I was wondering if I should buy a better one so I can properly stream Steam over my home network without the quality being "poor". It's okay, however I would like to use this in my living room which is slighty further and doubt it won't degrade in quality. The last time I tested it, my main pc was hard wired and the secondary was around twelve feet away from the router, granted it was in a separate room, but how much would I have to spend to get one that gets the job done? I'm willing to spend around 200-300 dollars, but if I have to spend more than that I'll rethink of a solution later. Also, a little bit more range would be appreciated. This is my current router: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CL58K0Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I was using the motherboard's hard wired at the time, however I'm pretty sure wireless it's going to be worse. This is my current adapter, got it simply because of the amazing deal of the blue tooth on the card. : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HF8K0O6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
