Best video camera under $200

So its 2015 and a lot has come out in video camera tech, hence why I am creating this rather than consulting old forums across the web. Basically me and friends want to buy a video camera to start a youtube channel and have scraped together between us about $150-250 to invest in a video camera. I'd like to know how to get the best bang for our buck. Any recommendations would be very appreciated. Also so you're aware of our intended use/needs, we'll be shooting indoors on a tripod in a low light setting. Also btw why is it that most videos I find on youtube of video cameras in this price range look worse than video shot on my iphone 5s???

You may be able to find a Nikon 3100 on eBay for around $200 - $300 and the Nikon 3000 on eBay for around $175- $275. They're great cameras for that price, too.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

The 5S is no slouch, look up TaigaTech or Taiga Fukiyama or something like that, most of his videos (his earlier ones) were shot with either an iPhone 5s, htc one m8, OPO, and I think he did one with the iPhone 6 and they have amazing quality (imo)
