so i wanted to play some bf4 and i couldent log in or change password, never sent me the mail.

so i looked into older mails and i see this ( both mails got sent on christmas )

so i clicked the "If you never made this change, please click here to change your email address back and change your password." link, and this popped up.... Gyazo Link .

 

and when i tried to get help from support there was nothing that said " i got hacked " or anything. so EA support was pretty much SHIT.

 

anyone have a idea?

is there no other way? cause it probably costs alot of money and then ill have to wait like 30 min for them to answer me. 

call them and be ready to give them alot of information such as the product key to the games your own and the correct about of games your own.

You must contact them. Phone or email support. It shouldn't cost you money at all.

 

Just remember to bring in proof that you own that account.

Gaben is here to help oh wait origin gross. I see this happening a lot. Hopefully EA does not charge you for their support. They did it to me a while back and never buy games from them anymore.

In the time that OP took to write out his multiple inquiries, couldn't he have just gotten the info via Google?  There is a point where people must help themselves.

 

 

I would've gladly given OP the info if I was home.  Unfortunately, I was out and about.  Couldn't just drop everything.  Tried to be as helpful as I could.  I was a bit snarky, but, eh.  It's the internet.  That's what it's for.

Yeah, because Valve support is very reliable and helpful.

Oh wait, I have never had any issue with Steam or any of my games. EA on the other hand is a company that just buys gaming studios to make profits.

That has nothing to do with anything.

It does. Buying Out Studios And Gutting Them. Westwood studios. EA ruined the command & conquer series. Early Server Shutdowns is another reason. EA was one of the first companies to have online passes. So I have to pay to play a game I bought used for the multiplayer side. Lets also mention the fact that they release DLC for need for speed games where the vehicles in the DLC were faster than the ones in the game. Also the fact that they go dlc crazy on that series. EA is all about their profits. I do like BIoware but the devs can only do so much. The publisher decides when the game is released and how much dlc is released. The studios they have make great games but thats about it. The support is simply not there. Why would I call valve for a third party game that I bought on steam?

I just wish EA would improve their tech support. Buddy of mine recently called them and they wanted money for fixing a problem they made. I have yet to call valve tech support so I will trust what you are saying.

You say that you're not an idiot but you somehow managed to have your email compromised and you probably had the same password to your origin and you let them set up two factor of the authentication and then verify through your own email and didn't notice until weeks later. I mean yeah it sucks that your stuff got stolen but this is something that you definitely could've caught much sooner if you did even minimal monitoring. The safety precautions didn't fail you here, it was your own lack of attention.

i havent used origin in a half year. and i dont get buisniss mails or anything, so therfore i dont check my email every day. i only log into it when i get a mail im expecting. and yes maybe it was a lack of my attention and security etc...

but EA should still not have bad support. the only option they gave me was "call me in xxx minuts" and when i clicked that. it was only for people in Usa and canada. so basicly i couldent get help...
