I have actually never bought myself any dust filters, i just use those that follows my case and that's about it. But i'm lazy so less dust is always key! :D

Ive been running my current rig as a test bench for 5 months, no dust to speak of on it, though I do have 5 noctua fans blowing on the components at 12v, so its probably blasting the dust clean off the components.

I use them because they came with my case and it allows me to be more lazy since i dont have to dust my pc nearly as much
