That or this?

An SSD + HDD is usually better than a hybrid drive. Although, I wouldn't get a transcend SSD.

Hey RandomName,

As @Octavialicious pointed out, separate SSD+HDD is a better option as you have two physical drives (if one fails, you still have the other one, upgrades and changes are much easier, cheaper in terms of GB/$), you are free to choose what to go to the SSD part and not count on an algorithm to put the files there, the SSD is actually much bigger (120GB at least compared to 8GB in most SSHDs) and other good benefits.

I would look around and ask for advice on good SSD here in LTT forum and, depending on how big of a drive you need and what you are going to use it for, check out WD Blue, WD Black and WD Green drives.

WD Blue is a good everyday drive for general computing: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=770
WD Black is a great performance drive: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=780
WD Green is an energy-saving drive designed for secondary storage: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=760

Hope this helps :)
