Nothing seems to work, purchasing a battery kit for my ipod :/ hope that this work. Thanks to all for the answers.

Hi, well I stop using my ipod touch for almost 4 months, now I want to use it back, it´s complete dead, I had tried a lot of things to turn it on again but nothings seems to work, I had leave it charging all the night with the original usb power supply and usb cable, tried to hard reset it, and nothing, it even doesn't show the battery charging picture when charging.

My ipod touch is jailbroken, I really don´t know if the jailbreak is causing this trouble. Anyone know what can I do? I really appreciate any kind of help!

EDIT: first just try to find it in iTunes..

 

Is there any valuable data on that|? What I'm about to recommend is gonna wipe it I believe..

I think you have to hold the lock and home button for like 7 seconds.. While it is plugged in to your PC and iTunes is started up.

I believe that is how I made my dad's iPod Touch work again

does itunes see it?

if not enter dfu mode plug it into itunes and wipe it

Its highly unusual for your device to do that even if you haven't used it for that long.

Try using different cables and different ports.

Try plugging into the PC see if it is recognized by your computer or iTunes.

Try plugging into an adapter only.

 

 

As an alternative, contact apple and they can help you.

- 'YOLO' doesn't exist in the PC World!
