Hi there,

I just bought GTA Episodes from liberty city and I am running it on Dell inspiron N4050

There are two GPUs in there,

AMD Radeon HD 7450M

 Intel HD3000

The game is using HD 3000 and its not the best of course. [i get 3-25fps]

I want to configure the game to use AMD card. How do I do that?

Thanks! :)

Disable your integrated graphics in the BIOS.

In Catalyst Control Center there is a menu that allows you to choose which GPU each application uses. I don't know exactly where its located in CCC, but I know its in there(lol). You will just have to poke around in CCC(it should be under a power saving or performance menu).

Thanks! But for some reason that did not work! I understand what you meant. Any other solutions?

Um, unless if you can get it to work through CCC you might have to force your iGPU off in your bios(like what Godlygamer23 said). This isn't a good solution because it will be a PITA switching the integrated on/off all the time or just leaving it on(with lowering your battery life), but with some AMD GPU's you just have to do this(this is only for laptops btw). The only other thing I would do is make sure you have the most current drivers from Dell's website(do not install the ones from AMD's or Intel's website), but there's a good chance that you have Dell's "current" driver.

Okkkkkkk! I do have the drivers from AMD and Intel. Thanks a lot. I shall try to install the drivers from dell's website now. :)
