i5 4670k (i have no plans to overclock)

2x gtx 650's

on an asrock z87 extreme 4

with 12 gb of corsair XMS3 DDR3 ram

Please list the rest of your including your case and cooling config.

Are you not satisfied with your current cooling?

What is the current motherboard as well?

Whoops just saw it...i would go with an H440...it has plenty of airflow...also i would route all of the harnesses behind the motherboard tray to increase the amount of area that area can flow through.

My case is just a standard Mid gaming tower idk the name as it was only $50 it has 4 case fans. 2 On the front and 2 on the back. I have the stock fan for the processor on it that's all that i can think of. The fan cases are all 120mm.

Thx.

:D

So why get new cooling? Are you current temps unsatisfactory?

NZXT...

...Although this makes it sound like you need a better cpu cooler or the current cooler was installed incorrectly.

I would remove the stock cooler, remove all the thermal grease with 99% alcohol and then reapply new thermal grease and re-install. After about 2-3 hours check the temps at idle and at capacity.

Yeah, i just needed a new Cpu cooler. But i'll try to remove the paste and re-apply but if that doesn't work what fan would you recommend?

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

Is there any indication as to what case you have? If not, can you give us a picture in case we can recognize it?

I had the same temperature before with my stock CPU Cooler while Rendering. You just need to replace your CPU Cooler. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is enough to lower your temperature to 60C

Re-applying the paste is a waste of time it will give you the same result. Just replace your CPU Cooler.
