Why not add an SSD ? Everything else is fine. If i were you i would of stepped up the SSD game. An Samsung 840 EVO 120gb or the Kingstone FURY 120gb are about $80 bucks Canadian atm.

Actually, i would recommend an Intel 530 SSD. It's about $80 bucks. Although it's not the fastest, at least it's dead reliable.

Go either with Pentium or with i5, taking i3 is pointless.

What do you mean? I don't want a Pentium because I don't think I could fit sufficient cooling in the case to overclock it

Intel i3 CPUs actually have Hyper Threading like the i7 CPUs. I'm guessing you know what that means? So they're definitely not pointless. In fact going with an i3 CPU would be better than the Pentium because the pentium is a dual core CPU with no HT, effectively making it less efficient and slower. ;)

Games can't really use HT, a friend of mine had an i3 and it wasn't a good experience for him. The advantages of i3 over Pentium are similar to advantages of i7 over i5.

Well that's certainly debatable. ;)

Erm...I didn't need to. You only use the 'MultiQuote" option when you want to quote multiple posts. Since I only wanted to quote your post I only needed to use the 'Quote' option. ;)

I've been a member of this forum since April 5th 2013, I think I'd know how to correctly use the forum by now. ;)
