My friend has around £30 for a new headset (PC) and wants to know what to get

Any suggestions

Not very many quality headsets that you could use with that budget, let alone even a mic+headphone combo. The only headset I can recommend with a reasonable price:performance ratio is the HyperX Cloud, and it's about $80
