closest thing you'll get to making one is getting a barebones minipc and putting the parts still needed into it.

You want to MAKE an Intel nuc ? Bruuhhh, you might as well just buy one. It's not possible to make a PC that small yet.... Although, you can buy a Gigabyte Brix, but they have overheating issues, depending on what model you buy. You can buy a cubic case like the 250D, that's probably as small as you can get attempting to "make" and Intel NUC.
