Ram upgrade on an E2-1800 APU

Go to solution Solved by CwGoh,

Getting another stick would help, by not enabing dual-channel as the controller is single channel, but by having more vacant RAM for the GPU to use as memory. But be sure to use 1333MHz ram with the lowest CAS lateny rating (minimum 9 imo) to boost gaming performance. :)

Hello earthlings,

I am planning on upgrading the RAM on my small laptop equipped with an AMD E2-1800 APU. My laptop only came with one SO-DIMM so I'm just wondering if anyone knows if this APU supports dual channel memory to take advantage of two sticks of RAM. Would adding a second stick of RAM help improve the gaming experience on this laptop? It would be nice to play League of Legends at a constant 30+ fps instead of dipping to ~22 fps.

Thanks for the help!
