but i was wondering  is  it better to buy a cpu or a apu.

because i can crosfire a amd  apu with a amd gpu:

I don't like the idea of apu's except for light gaming.

So I would go with cpu over apu with your kind of games.

Here is intel side if you change your mind.

I am not sure how good it is since I know as much about intel stuff.

But it seems to have good ratings.

Amd side updated with another motherboard to hopefully get better performance.

You have 42,31 dollars left, but I suppose switching it for 8320 is about the same as you were going for.

Gonna do one for the intel side too and you can make your choice about these builds if you like them or not after that.

Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($89.99 @ Micro Center)
Total: $396.72

honestly for $350 that AMD build is god awful, I would much rather go for a locked i5 considering how much better i5s are at gaming.

Anyway if you want to see why picking this build is much better than with an FX chip, then here. How many benchmarks on that page show the FX-8350 winning? None that I saw. There was one I saw the 8350 get pretty close to the 4690k, but the i5 still won.

Also the motherboard is crossfire compatible if OP is curious.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

The problem is that in croatia a intel i5-4690k is already 360$ so its a no no for my budget

Oh, I wasn't even aware of the location differences!

If the FX-8320 is significantly cheaper, then by all means.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

If you can get it for that price then great for you but some of us can not.

I wasn't aware that you could get it that cheap in America.

And don't start an amd vs intel war we have already had that discussion.

All I will say is that it depends what you're going to do with your computer.

Will it really bottle neck a 970?

I thought they were barely never bottle necked, or at least not enough to notice (aka still 60+ fps on high-ultra 1080p).

It really only will bottleneck arma 3/crysis 3 a bit or some cpu intensive games, otherwise so unless ur only playing those games its a good choice.

The FX 8320 is far from bad, but it's showing it's weaknesses more than it's strengths in gaming, SLi/Crossfire is just not going to be great at all, and higher than GTX 770/280x is not a good idea.

At 1080p, 280x/8320 is a beast build.

Wowowowowow gives honest opinion, gets called a fanboy. I've built 2 systems with a 8350 and also have had an AMD APU myself, I felt that since If you have a flexible budget and your gonna be able to grab an i5,it will atleast last longer. Also if hes a but tight and hes doing light going, camt really go wrong with an i3.

He said he wants AMD, end of story. I have an 8350 and an i5 and happy with both.

Going for 1800 HRK so around 280$ and the 8320 is 170$. The i5 4460 is going for 1300 HRK http://www.centro.hr/detalji_proizvoda.011bb7b709b24ac5ac4aeae1c5b9ad65.procesor-intel-core-i5-4460.aspx

Cheapest board that would go flawlessly with a 8320 is 550 HRK; http://www.centro.hr/detalji_proizvoda.3a3ea4ab852b4edd990c3815c71b4042.maticna-ploca-gigabyte-ga-970a-ds3p-am3-a970-d3-s3-u3-a.aspx

Here's the cheapest board for any Intel CPU; http://www.centro.hr/detalji_proizvoda.1c4da166496c4581bd248354b48ae080.maticna-ploca-msi-h81m-p33-ih81-s1150-ddr3-sata-ii-sata-iii-ps-2-usb2-0-usb3-0-lan-audio-line-in-audi.aspx

You don't save any money, the 4460/H81 combo will perform much better while obviously offering a better value.

Bigger then 1%, but it will depend on the game. It can very from being nothing if the game uses 3 or less cores, to 20% possibly more.

In the end Intel with it's stronger per-core performance is still a better option in the mid-range CPU market in terms of gaming.

Now I remember.

It was the single core performance which was 1% better.
