Greetings guys! Thank you for checking out my thread!  :D

I have experience a very strange issue with my PC. Rarely on boot up and after waking it from sleep, the display is suddenly distorted. Other times it's ok. The images attached are the best examples of this issue i have encountered (it's best viewed in full screen). Interestingly, when i turn the monitor on, the branding of the monitor displayed is not distorted, however when it's displaying windows it is.

A little bit of info about my build if it's helpful. I have an MSI GTX 970 4G gaming graphics card, an ASUS maximus VIII Hero Z97 motherboard. And a IIyama Prolite GB2773HS 144Hz display. I am using Displayport as an input for my monitor from the card.

The card however does perform as expected, i can game for hours and it will be fine, no artifacts or anything. It's not even overclocked.

I hope it's nothing related to my hardware

Thank you for reading and happy new year!

Yeah, your drivers are probably messed up..

Out of curiosity, how does it look when you screenshot?

Have you tried resetting to factory settings on your Monitor?

I formatted my PC and put windows 8.1 on it from windows 7. It was already done ;)

Any distortion with W7?
