Just a quick question, can't seem to be able to Google anything. I have a new ssd which obviously is better with sata 3. My motherboard only has sata 2, can a get a expansion card for my motherboard with sata 3 connections. Will any motherboard work with the expansion card sata 3 connections?

Thanks

The difference is like 3gbps isn't it?

Between the Sata Versions, yes, you dont just get 6gbps though you get the speeds of your SSD

But the bottleneck from sata 2 will be minimal (which SSD do you have?).
