So something that I really liked about my previous headsets ( Turtle beach p11 & turtle beach x12) was that the microphone had this feedback with the headset that allowed me to basically know how loud i was and it let me hear myself talk clearly, which doesnt really happen with noise cancelling headsets. I really liked this feature that those headsets had, but when I got my new kraken 7.1 it doesnt do that, so my question is, is there a way I can make it happen? Should it be happening and the headset i got is broken somehow? the mic works so I dont think so; is there no way to make it happen? there this option in the devices properties that allows me to hear the microphone but then I can actually hear real-time how i sound, which throws me completely off and I cant speak properly, plus its annoyingly delayed... Hopefully I explained the situation properly. Thanks for reading :)!

I'm sorry but I can'get your point....

this is what I can get

- you can hear yourself speaking with your old headset, and you like it

- you can't hear yourself speaking with new one, but there's a option to make it happen, but then the quality isn't as good as the one from turtle beach?

well I have try the feature you was talking about with my friend's px12 , and IMO that was really somehow annoying, anyway is option below is the one you have tried?, I got it from nukemaster from http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1781790/hear-talking-headset.html

I have NEVER used it for this reason, but your idea is a very good one.

Try sound -> Playback devices -> Speakers -> Properties -> Levels and look for the mic(it will be muted). unmute it, but keep the volume VERY low. adjust it, but if you go too far your mic will hear the headphones and you will get bad feedback.

Another option is to goto

Sound -> Recording -> Mic -> Properties -> Listen and check Listen to this device. You will need to adjust this as well(in the Windows Volume Mixer) to avoid feedback and it will have more delay.

Let me know if this helps you.

I'll already tried it, and there's a delay but unnoticeable for me, but the really annoying thing was the buzzing playback.

beside above option, I'm not yet get any other software ,etc to do so.

Yup thats what i tried but i feel that the delay is too noticeable. I understand your confusion its weird to explain. But yea that link you just sent me is talking about the exact same thing that I am. Yea I mean its not the end of the world if I dont have this feature... Im just used to it.

I maybe wrong but, after following the method on the link I can tell that there's no noticeable delay for me.....

this could be just a matter of perspective or do you any dedicated sound card, I dunno but maybe the hardware also affecting the delay
