So i was looking at some stuff in the Steam sales and i just noticed something that's pretty bad on Steam or R*s part.

The idea of buying a Complete/Gold/GOTY edition is to get all the released content including all DLC for a price which is cheaper than the combined total of buying it all separately, correct?

So then can someone please explain this to me please

Notice the combined price of everything when purchasing individually is £23.29 but the price of the complete pack is £26.99, how the hell does that work. That means Steam are taking an extra £3 for every complete edition they sell and customers are better off buying the items individually and saving the £3.

Am i missing something?

EDIT

Sorry folks this is a pointless post. The base game is reduced by £10 in the individual price total so it should actually be £33.29.

Price of individual games might be calculated with the current prices, meaning whatever discount they are at right now.

23.29 is the price of the bundle with each game separate, while on sell. 26.99 is the price of the bundle when the games aren't off-sale. I think this is why.
