Which CPU Cooler should I get?

I've been doing a bunch of research on various CPU coolers and I have pretty much narrowed it down to 2 that I would feel comfortable using in my rig.

1. Zalman CNPS9900 MAX Blue

2. Phanteks PH-TC12DX

I decided on these two coolers because they are quite good value for money, they aren't too big (not a fan of large air coolers), and they go with my build theme (Black/Royal Sapphire(Blue)/White).

I was tempted to pick up an AIO CLC such as the H100i but I don't really feel comfortable buying one at this moment in time, and even if I was to get one it would most likely be the Swiftech H220, however it isn't currently available in the UK.

Anyway if anyone has had any experience with either of the above coolers or if there is one you would recommend over the other, I would appreciate a response.

If you think there is another cooler available that I may have overlooked and is comparable to either of the two coolers in terms of performance AND aesthetics feel free to post it and I'll take a look, but from the extensive research I've done these two seem like my best option, just not sure which one.

I'm using an i5 3570k and I'm looking to get an overclock of around 4 - 4.5Ghz depending on how good the chip is and what sort of temps I get.

If you fancy going for overclocking. Perhaps the Noctua heatsink would be do ya well.

Noctua - Heatsink + Fan CPU Cooling Kit

Price might vary where you live

Thanks for the response Elven

I did take a look at some of Noctua's coolers and although I'm not a big fan of the colour scheme I wouldn't mind getting the Noctua NH-U12S.

As it stands currently, it's between that and the previously mentioned Phanteks PH-TC12DX.

Hoping to order one either today or tomorrow.

Im using a 3570k with 4.5ghz. I have 212 evo and my temps never go above 60 while gaming.

Get the 212 evo.

I would go with the Phanteks but make sure this cooler has enough clearance to fit your cpu cooler.
