So I replaced the existing HDD with an OCZ Arc 100 240gb SSD inside my Series 5 ultrabook. I reinstalled the OS via a usb that I got by converting my Win 8,1 disc into an ISO. The installed went fine with the exception of some little problems. Now whenever I turn off the computer it says something like 'All boot options tried...'. I then went into the bios and set the boot drive to the SSD and then also changed the sercure bios to disable. The only way that I can actually get into the OS is by plugging in the USB with the ISO on it and then going through that way. How can I fix this?

Is Windows properly installed onto your ssd?

AFAIK yes, however when I was playing around with the Bootrec.exe commands in the recovery CMD it said that there were 0 installations of windows detected.....

it seems in that case that Windows wasn't properly installed.

Hmm, What now? I installed it off a usb to the new SSD, During installation I ran into the section where it asked me to select the location. There where a couple of other locations all of which I deleted due to the SSD being setup in GPT. Could that have lead to the cause of the problems?

Deleting the partitions was the correct thing to do. I'm guessing something else went wrong during the procedure.

Did you ever get to boot into Windows on the ssd?

Well I can get into the OS but only when the USB is inserted. I have to have the USB inserted into order to get to this screen (https://www.winhelp.us/images/windows/troubleshoot/win8.recovery05.jpg) and then click on the continue button.

Reinstalling Windows should solve that issue.

Ok so I am back at this screen:

http://postimg.org/image/7fvpg59n5/

Apparentally there is a 22gig drive installed in the system but I am completely unaware of this since there is only 1 swappable bay. Would I try installing Win to that 22gb drive or the SSD. I have read that there is a 24gb Express Cache Sandisk i100 ISSD

Remove the cache ssd and install Windows to other ssd.

Windows installations can split across more than one drive sometimes so its' best to only have one drive installed during it.

How do i remove the Cache SSD? I don't know where it is located on the computer. I believe it is soldered onto the board. What would happen if I installed it onto the iSSD

You just wouldn't have much space to work with for Windows in that case.

You should probably delete the partitions on the cache ssd as well.

I can't delete the iSSD however (if you refer back to this image http://postimg.org/image/7fvpg59n5/) I deleted Drive 1 Partition 1 and also deleted the Drive 0 Partition 1 and set it up as a new drive. This changed the drive type to 'primary' the iSSD has no name under type. Also the iSSD's 22.4gb is unallocated space, would i just leave it like this or allocated it?

You can allocate it later. Leave it for now.

Doesn't seem to be working even after i deleted the iSSD volume using disk part in windows recovery

Just don't worry about it for now then.

Would you know how to change the System Reserved partition to a different drive? Most of the tut's for it online are for window's 7 and  I am afraid to try those.

It shouldn't be any different from Win7.
