antivirus protection?

If you're using Windows 8.1, it comes with Windows Defender, pair it up with MalwareBytes and you should be good to go. If you're using Windows 7, Windows Security Essensials is great. AVG is garbage, it detects everything as a virus.

Best anti-virus/anti-malware is common sense. Don't click on pop-ups, don't click on random ads that say "download" or "You've won!", and things like that.

 

If you need anti-virus: Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes, AVG and Avast. All of them do a good job at detecting known threats.

 

I'm not a coder or security expert so I couldn't say which one is the best though.

Keep in mind that while there's plenty of great anti virus programs, the best is your head. That's all I use and I've been vomit virus free since '93.

Thanks i just wanted to get some op on this, it's been a while, but i used to be a in IT, so i d don't keep up on stuff got  left in the dust ;P btw thanks guys !

I have avast free, malwarebytes anti malware/exploit running and they are fantastic
