Which Case should I get?

Hey everyone,

 

this is my build.  http://pcpartpicker.com/user/soctain/saved/btjbt6

 

I'm not sure which case I should get NZXT Phantom 530 (Black) ATX Full Tower Case or Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower. I heard that both these cases are not great for my build. The R4 is apparently a good case but not good with air flow someone suggested I get a smaller case can someone recommend a case around the same price range as any of these two cases.

 

Any and all advice is appreciated!

A smaller case would be better but it's not like the other two wouldn't do the job.

Would the NZXT Phantom 530 ATX Full Tower and R4 be more noisy? I'm more concerned about that

The Arc Midi R2 is louder than the R4 and quieter than the Phantom 530. 

If you want a particularly quiet system and not have to replace the stock fans, take a look at the Silent Base 800.

If you can spend a few extra bucks, and it's available wherever it is that you live, I would recommend the Define R5 over the R4.

Is the R5 much better than the R4?

Better airflow, think it has more cable management room too. The top and side vent covers actually are covers. You can pull out the generally useless 5.25" bays and move the 5 bay 3.5" cage into it's place. The bottom fan filter can be pulled from the front. The SSD trays on the back of the motherboard tray don't require you to have no motherboard installed. And should you decide to do some liquid cooling it's great for that too.

 

When the pictures of it leaked a few days before it was announced I decided it was the closest to perfect I had ever seen. Only thing I don't like is that it's ATX, and there is not an updated Define Mini.

As long as its quiet when I'm gaming and doing editing I don't really care. Can you take a look and tell me if the build would be appropriate for the R5. Right now I have the NZXT Phantom 530 (Black) ATX Full Tower Case

and can you explain the "Only thing I don't like is that it's ATX, and there is not an updated Define Mini." I'm kind of a computer noob and don't understand what that means.

It's features have been improved but the structure of the chassis is compromised. I wouldn't feel safe sitting on the R5.

Wooden whats the best case I can get for around the same price range thats quiet other than R5,  the Silent Bass 800 not being an option.

The Define R4/R5 doesn't have much other competition due to the optical drive.

I would otherwise recommend going with a s340 for better cooling and slower running fans.
