The Interview and Vice documentary connection

I am currently watching The Interview and from time to time I notice that there are lot of places and scenes in movie that are featured in Vices documentary of North Korea.

Its just strange to me how many scenes in movie are based on that documentary.

And man how this movie is time waster... (dont judge, its my opinion)

Yeah, The Interview is a pretty mediocre movie. i don't think anyone would remember it, if it wasn't for the whole Sony incident.

They probably used the footage from the Vice documentary, becuase it was available. It's pretty hard to get non-governmental footage from North Korea.
