This is my first build and I was wanting a recommendation for a case and for one of you bright people to look over the rest of my build to see if I am making any mistakes.  I don't care about showing off the inside of the case so I don't need a windowed unit. This build is 90% for work (video editing/processing, database management, lots of multi-tasking). Plan on making upgrades for 4k in the future (GTX 980 8GB and a 4k monitor) as better components become available and cheaper)

Here is the rest of my build:

5930k

Noctua NH-U145

ASROCK X99 Professional / LGA2011-3

Crucial 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory (plan to upgrade once prices come down)
Sandisk Extreme Pro 2.5" SSD (I already own the 240GB and 480GB versions)

Graphics card: GTX 750 or something else cheap but functional (I am holding off on the GTX 980 until the 8GB version comes out)

Silverstone Nightjar 520W 80+ Platinum, fully modular

I like the looks of the Lian Li PC-V1000LA if the price wasn't so high.($360)

EDIT: Sorry, I should add the I was looking to spend around $150 for the case.

Thanks for your time.

I don´t know if you´ll like it.

But I like it for suuuuuuuuuuuuuureeeee

Cooler Master HAF932 Advanced -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119160&cm_re=Cooler_Master_HAF932_Advanced-_-11-119-160-_-Product

If you want to save some money, the i7-5820K might be the processor to go with. It is only 200mhz lower clocked and ~250$ cheaper.

you dont need a 5930k unless you are going 4 way sli in the future get a 5820k. Are you sure a 8gb gtx 980 is going to come out? case is mainly personal preference just pick something thats compatible.

he´s using it for video editing/processing :)

But you´re right, going for the 5820k is the right way.

Still pcie lanes isn't going to help with that.

Um look at a Phanteks Enthoo Pro maybe as the non-windowed version is 90$ or so.

ye haven´t read he suggested the 5820k.

Yep I know. Don´t bro out on me.

-It could, in gpu accelerated programs, but who cares...
