Odd Crashes....Help

Hi all,

 

I built myself a new pc recently and have come across a problem i cant diagnose. So my new pc (i will include a DXdiag further down) i7, gtx 780ti, has had no troubles running older games.

 

I run arma 2, counterstrike and most old games on steam fine! for hours and hours.

 

But recently i bought myself some new titles:

 

*Assasins creed unity

*farcry 4

*blackops 2 (not new but has the same problem)

*Cod:AW

 

I installed assassins creed and ran it for awhile and it crashed... big supprise. I figured that the game was glitchy and after a few more crashes left it for awhile to play later. Then it was a problem in farcry, blackops2 etc etc.

 

Strangest part is, Once one of the games crashes (any of the new titles) Im unable to run any of them until i reboot. If i try and run one it will just blackscreen on launch and "program has stopped working".

 

It got me thinking is this a hardware or software (direct x) problem. today i ran Farcry 4 for about 20 minutes and once it crashed i couldnt load any new game. Is it games that run DX11?

 

I hope someone can help, Its driving me nuts.

 

To weed out all simple questions i have done the following to help resolve it.

 

*Reinstalled drivers (wiped them and reinstalled)

*reinstalled windows and everything

*updated the bios on both MB and VGA card

*checked temps while running the games (all normal)

*reinstalled DirectX,frameworks everything.

Are you able to use built in functions of windows like the windows photo gallery or does it error?

Windows Photo Gallery works fine, while the games still dont work. (until reboot)
