Just one more problem..... windows help

Why do I so many problems? Anyway, I put windows 8.1 from the disk it came in to an external usb hardrive that had nothing on it. I then plug it into my computer windows come up and I do a little dance, I fill in the 3 boxs (language, and stuff like that now version anything) and am taken to the next pages where it asks me to install. The page says Windows 8 btw not 8.1 but I didnt notice this until later. Does it even change for small version updates? Anyway I go to the page where it ask me for my code and I put it in. Says it cant verify it or that its wrong or something like that. So I'm like ok must have typed it wrong, look it over: its correct. Worried now I shut computer down and start over. Try again wrong again. What do I do? Btw I was using the on screen keyboard as mine still needs to come in.

It's normal for the Win8.1 installation to show Win8 on the screen.

You should probably call Microsoft.

Alright thanks you can close this, it just didnt play well with the virtual enter key. I used the actual next button and its fine.
