Asus VG248QE

Okey so I'm looking for a great gaming monitor that will have a great contrast ratio and that the games will look beautiful on it. My budget is MAX 300€. And I'm looking also help should I buy 144Hz or 120,60Hz. I will also need 1080p or more if you guys think my pc can handle it.

My PC Specs:

GPU: Amd Radeon 7950

CPU: Intel Core I5 3570K 3.40GHz

OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit

8GB Ram

And also, just so you don't start to question what is my current one, here is the link, BUT I WARN YOU, it's gonna destroy your eyes

I play games like Arma 3, Battlefield, csgo, War Thunder,Payday, Total War, Civilization,Rust. As you can see, it's kinda mix of fast-paced games and more graphic oriented games.

I'm not sure if that GPU can handle the 144Hz, but I would get the BenQ XL2420T ;)

What do you mean that my GPU can't handle 144Hz? Does the 144Hz need more power from the GPU or you mean that my GPU can't get the 144fps to enjoy it's full aspect?

In order to enjoy 144Hz properly, your GPU must output 144FPS or more. That's why ;)

I'm debating on whether getting the VG248QE or the  BenQ XL2411Z, they both look pretty good and I have heard a lot of good reviews about each. Do you have the VG248QE? If so how good is the picture quality? Obviously its a TN panel, so it wont won't  be anywhere near as good as a Ips monitor but I really want the 144hz refresh rate which I can't get on a Ips. Also how good are the speakers? Good enough or will i need to purchase some others to go with it?

Thanks.

I'm now just wondering, my GPU can't get over 60fps on most of the games I play, except War Thunder,Payday,CsGo,Rust, so would it actually be worth it to buy the VG248QE? Also, I'm kinda saving money for the AMD R9 290X Lightning, and after that, for new motherboard and Intel I7-4970k processor. So I wouldn't really wanna spend all the money to a high end screen that's aspects i can't fully enjoy. But on the other side, I would now want to buy a good monitor so when i get to upgrade my pc, I can enjoy it then. So what do you guys think?
