So I have a Gigabyte OC GTX 560 Ti, and since it was overheating i set the fans to run at max speed all the time. That fixed the problem for a while, until the fan fell out of the cooler. Whoops. I have now taken the whole card apart. Where can I get replacement fans or a replacement cooler? I have the fan's model number: pld08010s12h. It's 75mm in diameter and 40mm between mounting holes, kind of a standard, right? Except that I would have to have them shipped from Hong Kong. Not ideal.

you *could* just take the shroud of and install a 92mm fan on it or something.

Ghetto it, It is Much more fun than simply buying new shit.

And if you cant ghetto it to perform as good as you want you could buy a new cooler.

there are fan headers on the gpu

The question is on how many amps they are, Id guess on 0.5 or 0.3 amps, He should be fine though, The worst case scenario is that the fan simply will run slower.

There only seems to be one on my card, so I guess I will have to buy some sort of splitter?

You could buy a splitter, But you could also solder it together if you have a solder-iron, Heck, You could also simply twist the poles together in parallel and you should be fine as long as you insulate it.

It'd be easier to just use a header on the motherboard and find a speed that keeps your temps low enough.

So if I buy two of these do I need anything else?

I would just strap a single 120mm fan instead for quieter operation. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/arctic-cooling-case-fan-afaco120pcgba01

But my heatsink is about 200mm long, will it cool the whole thing?

It should be fine. I didn't have any issue cooling a 254mm long 7870 with a single 120mm fan.

is it like overheating all the time, when not playing games?

or only when you play games?

GPUs are made to stand 90c

i also though my old 550ti was overheating, it wasnt every gpu is hot

It was hot enough to somehow crash the drivers

or it may be an unstable driver,or game
