Sounds like you are new to the skin thing in CSGO, troll or not, I will try to explain it as well as possible.

 

CSGO Skins aka weapon skins in Counter Strike Global Offensive are earned through playing the game, and opening cases.

People will try to get the best skins because it looks cool, and kinda says: yo i'm pro bcuz i got dem skinzzz

Tbh, I don't spend on skins, that is just me however. You can buy some from the steam market, play to earn them, or bet the skins you have, in the hope of getting higher value skins.

I really hope that this a troll post. But in case that its not, you can't download csgo skins for competitive games for free you have to either unbox them from cases or buy them from the steam market.

When you open a case, both the case and the key disappears, but you get a skin from it.

When you use a key on a case, it is used up. You cannot use that same key again until you purchase another one. It is a "losing gamble" 99% of the time. It has been proven over and over than the Blue skins (generaly $.15 or less) happen 87% of the time, Purple skins are 7%(about $1-2) Pink skins are 4%($5-10) and Red skins($15+) are 2% or less. If you average this out, you get a negative $ return over the long run.

 

In short, DO NOT OPEN CASES! IF YOU REALLY WANT SKINS, PURCHASE THEM RIGHT OFF OF THE STEAM MARKET.

 

I have also found that /r/globaloffensivetrade is a great site to buy keys for paypal or other methods (skrill, btc, etc) for MUCH less than you would spend in game and then use the keys to trade for items you want (knives, high end stat-traks, etc). I generally spend $1.80-1.85/key through paypal where they are normally $2.49, saving me almost 30%. I recently cashed out my inventory myself aside from a vanilla flip knife.

Absolutely man, but a lot of people dont even realize that there is an opportunity to buy keys WAY cheaper than normal. If I had realized this earlier in my trading, I would have invested less into my initial purchases. I cashed out just over $1000 early last month and have not had a single chargeback and I sold to like 10+ different people.

yea, it's completely possible to get any skin cheaper than market price for any game if you use paypal. There are a lot of awesome, honest people out there who just want to get along safely but the problem you and I know is, for every one honest guy, there's twenty or more trying to steal your stuff.

 

I spent a long ass time trying to catch these scumbags as a steamrep admin so I was hoping the good people of LTT could benefit from my experience

Honestly man, and you and I know this to be true, there is a huge "monster under the bed" fear of most RWT'ers that they are gonna get scammed, but as long as you(not you specifically, you as in generally) do your own research and have a little common sense, there shouldn't be a problem.
