according to their websites the Noctua NF-F12 is slightly louder.

NF-F12- 18.6 db  silent wings 2 - 15.7 db.

though that said the difference will be hardly noticeable since both are extremely quiet.

also what will be the purpose of these fans?

general case fans?

pushing air through heatsinks/radiators?

because the NF-F12's have significantly higher static pressure than the bequiet silent wings 2,so they'd be much better for radiators or heatsinks.

Yeah i thought Noctua would be the best but i feel the appearance of the Silent Wings was better. What are our opinions on appearance and Silence combined?

If they are that quiet and that close to each other, looks.

I would be using two for a 240mm Radiator so would be needing pressure optimized. But two for the from just for airflow and one also exhausting at the rear.

honestly I'd say go for noctuas on the radiator, and noctuas as intakes.

because both of those need to

-pull/push air through radiator

-pull air through closely woven mesh

for the exhaust just go for pretty much any fan with decent cfm and low db rating.or just go noctua for everything.

Yeah i wanted to go for Noctua all around but then a friend suggested BeQuiet and i preferred the appearance of them. I hope the Noctua fans won't make the inside of my case look bad. But thanks.

well the static pressure on the be quiets is still great,it's just not as good as the NF-F12's.

the noctuas have significantly higher static pressure, but unless you have a really dense fin array the difference will be negligible.

if you want silence and style go for the bequiet fans, they aren't bad by any stretch of the imagination, and they are quieter.

the noctua fans are just in a class of their own.

also you could try dying the fans if you want them to be a certain color.

and from what I've read about this method it doesn't affect noise or static pressure.

Yeah thats looks like a good solution tbh. I will still need to look into it but thanks for the help.

For case fans I would go with the be silent wings 2, I find they under volt a tad better.

Check out the fans from NoiseBlocker! I'm surprised they aren't as Noctua! They are pretty similar in terms of performance and they are black, so until Noctua releases their black fans, that and the be quiet fans are imop the only choice.

IMO you should go for noctuas whereever you won't be able to see the fan(behind a rad for example) and bequiet! fans everywhere where they will be visible ^^

Be Quiet! fans are slightly higher air flow and lower static pressure, but what most people fail to mention is that that makes them a better balanced fan than Noctuas. So for a case fan application, BQ's are better. They're also quieter, and it's especially noticeable when it's mounted to a heavy obstruction like a radiator or air cooler. In short, using Noctuas WON'T give you ANY more overclocking room whether it's air or water cooling, BUT the noise will be a lot better on the BQ's.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

If you have white or red in the computer the noiseblocker e-loop fans perform a bit better than the noctua nf-f12 and look better.
