My dad's been talking about getting a computer for a while now, and when I saw him looking at a Mac Pro I flipped my shit. He's always trying to buy the best gadgets but I had to sit him down and explain that $2800 is about five times more than he needs to spend. So he wants a part list, and I'd like to help him out.

I'll set the budget at about $700-$1000, though I doubt I'll hit that cap. It's just going to be used as an HTPC, streaming movies from my mom's computer. He wants wifi and Bluetooth, no disc drive, three USBs total with two on the front, he wants it to be small and black, but stylish. It also needs to plug into his tv.

He wants some storage, so I figured a decent 64-128GB SSD with a 1-2TB hard drive. He just wants it to be fast and quiet. Any ideas for a list of parts? The smaller you guys can make this, the better.

That's not really what I'm looking for. Maybe parts that fit a Silverstone ML04B or something of that size.
