Thank you for moving the thread to the right section!

What about this one -> http://pcpartpicker.com/part/fsp-group-power-supply-aurums600w

Where i live there is only VS series and AX series. I can't afford AX and it will be overkill even if i could buy it.Oh I've also found CS600M and CS650M Which are a little expensive.

Which one to order? Thank you very much!

The Aurum S is better and would be plenty for a 290.

Hello! I was wondering if i can run Gigabyte r9 290 with Corsair VS650 power supply. The CPU will be 4690k. I've checked some other forums and there are so many different answers so i decided to ask here!
Thank you and happy Holidays!

It probably can but I'd suggest getting a better psu instead. The VS series is a budget line from Corsair that I don't recommend getting if you don't have to.

This belongs in the Cases and Power Supplies section. I'm moving the thread.

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861
