bad internet :'(

Plug your pc in to the back of your BT home hub and do a speed test then.

If your speed is better it's a wireless issue.

If you have them check your filters that are on your phone cable (going to the home hub) sometimes they can be dodgy

If not ring BT up and ask them to sort it out. (kinldy)

Okay so this is my first post thingy ,and i guess ill talk about my fantastic internet speed .At the minuete my download speed is a whopping 127kb/s andi dread to check the upload :o . so im guessing i should probably pick up the phone and be really angry so i get what i want .I dont know ,what should i do .i cry when i get games of steam and realise their 5GB and its gonna take 16 hours .so do you guys have any idea what i should do.

What speeds are you supposed to get? Unfortunately most broadband contracts only specify a maximum speed, they don't guarantee you'll always be getting it if ever at all. It also depends on how far you are from the origin of the signal. You can try changing isp, complaining unfortunately won't do much for you :(

What country do you live in? What carrier are you using?

The biggest bottleneck is the Aussie internet..

What is the type and speed of internet you subscribed to?

 

Hardwired or over wifi?

no its not really normal  and im with BT  in the UK and i think we subscripbed to up to 20mb/s and i used a wireless adapter so yes i used wireless :)
