Differences between these blocks?

Go to solution Solved by Shaqo_Wyn,

Can anyone tell me what the difference is? http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/step1_complist?gpu_gpus=1514 This is the GPU I'm looking at and the block available. Is there any performance difference or quality between the different types of blocks? I'm really not sure if there is any major difference besides the looks? If it makes any difference my CPU block and inside of rads are all copper. I'm looking at full cover blocks only.

Edit: Damn..they are out of the Acetal one which is the one I like the best...anyone know how long EK takes to come back into stock of blocks?

Acetal + Nickel = black acetal top cover + copper water block with nickel plating

Nickel = clear plexi top cover + copper water block with nickel plating

Nickel CSQ = clear plexi top cover with CSQ (circle square design) + copper water block with nickel plating

Acetal = black acetal top cover + copper water block

They all perform the same. It's up to you to decide which top cover you want and whether you want the water block to be copper or copper with nickel plating.

The advantage of the nickel plated water blocks is that they keep the water block looking nicer for longer with time as the water corrosion starts to show on the copper. Performance wise this have no effect because all the above mentioned water blocks are still copper.

VGA Fullcover cools all the card. VRM etc.

Something like the VGA-Supremacy (first on on GPU only) is basically like a CPU cooler. you would have to get heatsinks for VRM n stuff.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

No...I'm looking at the full cover only blocks. There are different full cover blocks and I'm trying to find out the differences. I'm not looking at the non full covers you are referring too.

It's just the materials it's made out of.

It just really changes appearance. Performance parts are still the same for all.

Like a lot of people already told you, all the blocks perform exactly the same since the're all full cover blocks.  It's up to you to choose the one you like the most.

As for the availability, it should come back in stock in the beginning of the new year.
