I'm looking to build a gaming PC for around $1700.  There's no keyboard or mouse because I already have those.  Here's the parts list:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Cjk7nQ

Tell me what you think.

Clashy RAM and motherboard (look into the Kingston Fury series) but that's all I can think of.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I like it but the only thing that's off is the RED ram....i mean come on .... at least get a dual channel blue or back heat-sinks or you could paint it .

Didn't even cross my mind... that would make more sense, as the case is windowed.

Is the 1 stick of 8GB RAM for now enough? I figured I could add more sticks in the future.

I figured I would get all the fans for optimal cooling now and in the future.

Here's what I think is a better RAM option.  It's slightly less expensive and matches the motherboard.

Can you answer the rest of the questions?

More fans don't always improve cooling. Positioning and quality of fans will usually make a bigger difference than sheer quantity.

And I think I'll switch the fans to blue LED, to match the color scheme.

I may water cool in the future.  Mainly for expandability, and I like the look of the case.

I guess he likes it big ....just joking

Problem is that right now you are wasting money from the fans that could go to better ram lol or a H100i or H110.

Ahh.

Are you going for a particular color scheme or just one that makes sense?

What do you mean "better RAM?"  Do I need more, or just better quality RAM?

Just more ram, or more higher rated frequency ram to get that little juice you could squeeze at this prize point.

How about the Corsiar Vengeance?  1X8GB?

In that case, recommended edits: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HyMDf7

If you want better fans, remove the stock case fans and put 2 P14s' in the front for intake + 1 at the rear for exhaust: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-case-fan-nfp14sredux1200
