Optical Mouse + Mousemat?

Hi,

I'm looking for an optical mouse (preferably with 1600DPI setting) with place for my thumb to rest (preferably not wireless) and a mousemat, not too large, but not tiny.

 

Also, try to make it as cheap as possible.

 

P.S. I don't mean as in a mouse+mousemat combo

all i have to say is that if u are gonna be getting an optical get a cloth mousepad. they are proven to have the best performance with optical sensors. good luck searching and i hope u find the best of the best equipment

G402 OR G502, mionix naos 7000, razer Deathadder 2013, Chroma, or classic, corsair sabre rgb optical, roccat line xtd optical, asus one that I can't recommend unless you have a claw grip.

Thats actually not the case. People just use them because for the giant size needed for 400dpi cloth is by far the cheapest. Surfaces really don't matter to the modern sensors as thong as they are clean and consistent. The rest is all personal preference.

I have a Deathadder and a goliathus mousepad (i think its control, but pretty sure it doesn't matter much ' o'). 

I play mostly CSGO and Leauge of Legends at a semi-high level, really happy with my experience, but synapse is kind of annoying to install but at least it stays out of the way.

How heavy is the G502 compared to other mice? I've heard things about it being a bit unweildly.

The G502 is a bit heavy w/out weights, and pretty heavy with them, I use a wireless mouse that is a bit heavier than the G502 w/out weights

light mouse: G402 if you don't care about the weight: G502

Mousemat: Steelseries QCK+ or Roccat Taito. I got the Taito myself and dang, it's smooth as hell but you can still feel the cloth. Really good mousepad.
