I can tell you there are just as many hardcore female gamers as there are male. I remember back in my old guild in WOW the majority of our best players were female. The only reason you dont notice it as much is most females are more modest than us guys are and dont feel the need to make it known they are gamers, they just set back and let it be a mystery.
