IO Shield problems

Hi, I am building my 1st pc. using this case: corsair spec 01 and this mobo: msi a78m -e35. the io shield that came with the mobo had these pin like things blocking the holes for the ports to stick out. do I bend them back or what?? pls help!

The "pin" things just press against the back of your motherboard to ensure that the plate doesn't fall out or rattle. Don't bend them, they are fine as is.
