2.0 Desktop Speakers <$200 (USD)

So I am looking for some desktop speakers that are around $200, give or take a little.

Specifically, I need a 2.0 set, I just moved into a small apartment and we really don't have the room for a bass speaker to sit anywhere. Just looking for something that will sound decent in this price range, and a small footprint for the speakers would be an added bonus, but I don't want to sacrifice fidelity for size. If the speakers you list require an external amp, please include that in the $200 price. As a short description of the kind of sound signature I like, I am a big fan of Sennheiser's typically more flat response. Bass doesn't have to be overpowering for me, but it does have to be clear.

I have been looking at the AudioEngine A2+ (even though its $50 more than I wanna spend), but have heard mixed reviews on them, so I wanted to get your thoughts on them, and some alternatives I could go with.

The A2's are a great solution, HiVi D1080 also makes for a speaker that would work too
