Don't worry 3 pin fans will work with 4 pin headers.

There is a notch so you will know which way to plug it in.

But there is one header and I have 3 fans so is one fan ok until I get a new MoBo as long as I do not overclock anything?

should be fine, unless maybe you have a super small case

You'll be fine. Check your temps just in case.

 

Instead of getting a whole new mobo, you can get a fan splitter like this:
